Rapid Notify Selected by Allegheny Energy Supply for Emergency Notification Services

Rapid Notify, Inc. announced today that it was recently selected by Allegheny Energy Supply to provide emergency notification services for its Lake Lynn Power Station in Pennsylvania. The Rapid Notify system will enable Allegheny Energy Supply to contact over 2,000 area residents in the event of an extreme emergency situation.

Headquartered in Greensburg, Pa., Allegheny Energy, Inc. (NYSE:AYE) is an investor-owned utility with over $3 billion in annual revenues and more than 4,000 employees. The company owns and operates 21 power plants and delivers electric service to over 1.5 million customers in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland.
